About Coach Blake Baker
Thank you for visiting my website and showing interest in what I do.
If you’re new here or just looking to understand a bit more about me
here’s a brief overview.

My Story
I’ve been a personal trainer for 14 years and hold university-level
qualifications in coaching and personal training. Over the past 4
years, I’ve also worked as an intensive close protection operative,
providing services to a wide range of clients, including ultra-high-net-
worth individuals, a Premier League football team, an international
football team, and other VIPs. This experience is part of my nearly 13
years in the security industry, where I’ve gained a diverse set of skills,
knowledge, and values that I apply to my work with fitness and
mindset clients. During my journey, I also earned my Level 4 First
Response Emergency Care certification, ensuring I’m well-qualified in first aid.
My journey into health and fitness began during my college years,
driven by my own struggles growing up. I was always the "fat kid"
and managing my weight was a constant battle. It became clear that
I needed to make a change, so I faced my fears and anxieties and
took the first step toward improving both my physical and mental
health. That initial step, filled with both fear and confidence, was a
turning point in my life, and I want the same for you.
This is why I became a qualified coach to guide you on your own
journey of self-improvement. Drawing from my personal experiences
and the knowledge I have gained, I’m here to help you unlock the best
version of yourself. My personal slogan, "Strong Mind, Strong Body"
is at the core of my approach because I believe the mind and body
need to work together to achieve true strength. I’ll always be
genuine and authentic with you, and at times, share my own
vulnerabilities to connect on a deeper level.
While I initially trained as a bodybuilder, over the past 4-5 years, I’ve
embraced a more hybrid approach that emphasizes longevity, health,
athleticism, and overall fitness, rather than just focusing on aesthetics.
When I’m not training others or myself, I focus on Mixed Martial
Arts. The sports multi-disciplinary nature demands both physical and
mental dexterity. I also play football, which helps keep me sharp and active.
I believe in the importance of rest and recovery, so I always make
time for that. Spending time with my family and my partner, which is
essential; they provide me with constant support and strength. A
large portion of my ‘Why’ in life is linked to them. To fully unwind, I
enjoy getting stuck into a good book or podcast, and of course … a
quality cup of coffee.
